Hurricane Season

Hurricane season is upon us again.  Every year, June through November it starts all over.  Living in Florida, this is just a fact of life.  Fortunately, we can track these storms and know about where they are going.  Unfortunately, we can’t control them to send them back to where they came from!

Over the last few decades, these powerful storms have just gotten more powerful.  Being prepared for them is the most we can do, and that can be a matter of life and death.  Here are some things that will help you and your family stay safe and give you peace of mind during this hurricane season.

  1. If you are in a mandatory evacuation area, please consider going to a safe place during the storm.  Friends and family are good to be around during stressful times anyway.
  2. Stock water during the off-season.  Water is plentiful and often goes on sale all throughout the off-season.  Water also doesn’t expire.
  3. Check your insurance policies before the season begins or at least before a storm begins to develop.  Check to make sure you have enough coverage and also the right type of coverage.

After the storm, if your roof needs repairs, we have you covered.  Every year these powerful wind storms hurt and in some cases, kill people.  Being prepared gives a sense of confidence and calm when you need it the most.

Your family’s safety is the highest priority, because everything else can be repaired or replaced.
