Hey, did you know that we now offer tree trimming? Well, now you do! Tree limbs can cause premature wear on your roof. Keeping your trees trimmed back is also good for them too. A standard elevation and center prune is a good practice to keep your trees aerated and healthy. Too much sucker growth can cause congestion at the center of the canopy, causing a wind blockade. This isn’t helpful during wind storms.
Ideally, the wind should blow through the canopy. When this happens, the wind resistance is minimized. Also, the more underbrush you take out, the less leaves will fall too. Trees need a certain percentage of their leaves before they go into dormant state for the winter. Everything else is shed and ends up in your lawn, pool, or on your roof.
